Therefore THE WENDY JAMES BAND will be gigging 5 nights a week, every Tuesday to Saturday!
I have the mighty James Sclavunos out with me on drums, the mighty Alex Ward on guitar and my bass and keyboards are just making their calendars work, so they can be with me too! All these musicians are constantly booked, so getting everyone into one diary is rather challenging, but I think very possible!

THE WENDY JAMES BAND will be playing songs from across all 10 of my albums! I’ll be playing a handsome number of songs from THE SHAPE OF HISTORY, but of course, going back to POP ART and through the ages! Picking off favorite songs from each of them, and rehearsing up more than we need so there can be alternatives per night!
I’m really excited to do this! My in-store tour at the end of last year for the release of THE SHAPE OF HISTORY showed me once again how much pleasure I take in singing the melodies, the lyrics and hearing my music being played. Last year, semi-acoustically with Alex was wonderful! But now it’s time to bring the noise!!

I’m at a place where I’m confident that my music speaks for itself, that we know each other, that so many of us have connected for so many years now and I think these gigs are tee’d up to be an incredible play of this history! From TVV Pop, to New Wave Punk, to Lo-Fi Racine No.1 through to the big, big productions of Queen High Straight and The Shape Of History! There’s something about I Came Here To Blow Minds that remains timeless and a favorite record of mine too!
